The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are a group of islands at the juncture of the Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea, and are a Union Territory of India.The territory is 150 km (93 mi) north of Aceh in Indonesia and separated from Thailand and Myanmar (Burma) by the Andaman Sea. It comprises two island groups, the Andaman Islands and the Nicobar Islands, separated by the 10°N parallel, with the Andamans to the north of this latitude, and the Nicobars to the south. The Andaman Sea lies to the east and the Bay of Bengal to the west.The territory's capital is the Andamanese town of Port Blair. The total land area of the territory is approximately 8,073 km2(3,117 sq mi). The capital of Nicobar Islands is Car Nicobar. The islands host the Andaman and Nicobar Command, the only tri-service geographical command of the Indian Armed Forces.The Andaman Islands are home to the only known paleolithic people, the Sentinelese people, who have had no contact with any other people.There are many things to visit like kalapani it a jail where our prisoners was used by the British especially to exile political prisoners to the remote archipelago. Many notable dissidents such as Batukeshwar Dutt and Veer Savarkar, among others, were imprisoned here during the struggle for India's independence. Today, the complex serves as a national memorial monument.

The most beautiful island the havelock island which is the worlds 7 beautiful island with fresh water .Havelock Island, with an area of 113.93 km2, is the largest of the islands that comprise Ritchie's Archipelago, a chain of islands to the east ofGreat Andaman in the Andaman Islands. Havelock is situated 57 km north east of the capital city Port Blair.
and their are many other great museums like fish museums etc.
so their are many great things to visit and i love the place very muchhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
